  3. What This Software Does
  4. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  6. This fully RISC-OS compliant multitasking application allows
  7. the plotting of up to eight graphs on the same set of axes.
  8. Suitable data files may be produced using e.g. !GraphDraw,
  9. !FnPlotter or !CurveFit. This application does not allow the
  10. direct  entry of data, and does no data processing. It
  11. simply combines several graphs onto the same set of scaled
  12. axes. You must have one of the applications mentioned to
  13. make use of !MultiPlot
  14.  
  15. Multiplot now fully supports Acorn's !Help application, and
  16. the main menus have an option which displays context
  17. sensitive on-line help in a scrollable window. This will
  18. give information on the operation of the application.

  22. Running the Application
  23. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  25. As a fully RISC-OS compliant application it can be started
  26. from within the desktop in all the normal ways.
  27.  
  28. Double clicking on the !MultiPlot icon in a directory viewer
  29. will install its icon on the icon bar. 
  30.  
  31. The application may also be started by double clicking on
  32. any !MultiPlot data file in a directory viewer. This will
  33. only work if the !MultiPlot application has been 'seen' by
  34. the filer, so that the filer knows to run !MultiPlot before
  35. loading the file. If the application is started in this way,
  36. besides the icon appearing on the icon bar, the icon will
  37. show the number of data files loaded, and the graph window
  38. will open.

  41. The Iconbar Menu
  42. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  44. Clicking 'menu' on the iconbar icon will bring up a menu
  45. with the following options.
  46.  
  47. Info
  48. Help
  49. Plot graph
  50. Options...
  51. Clear data
  52. Save Data
  53. Quit
  54.  
  55. Fuller information on these choices will be obtained by
  56. selecting Help once the application is running.

  61. the  public domain, but remains the copyright of the author,
  62. Chris Johnson, and is released as Shareware only, and should
  63. not be posted on bulletin boards or circulated on any public
